Danny grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and studied at Georgia Institute of Technology to pursue his dream of becoming an architect. There he discovered his passion for design and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture. He started his own firm in 2007 after a partnership with Fred Bainbridge. His career has taken him to many building types including golf and tennis resorts which included work on conference centers, clubhouses and resort housing. He has also has experience with restaurants, office, retail design and renovating old buildings. But, custom residential design has always been his passion. He is registered in Georgia and Florida and an AIA member. Danny also enjoys woodworking, drawing and painting, travel, guitar and tennis and being a granddad.
David’s early interest in Art and Architecture was sparked by the many moves across the United States and Europe made as a member of an Air Force family. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology, he has remained in Atlanta, focusing on residential and retail design.
Additional interests include books, music and film. Physical pursuits include hiking, canoeing and camping in the back-country, tennis and cycling.
Carolyn is Danny’s daughter, and had the unique experience of growing up in a home designed by her father with his architecture firm on the top floor of the house. With a strong interest in design and architecture from the beginning, she graduated from The University of Georgia with a BFA in Interior Design in 2011. She officially joined DMMA in 2013 and spearheaded the interiors for the firm. She lives in Macon, Georgia with her husband and two young children in a 1904 Folk Victorian that they renovated and restored. Her other interests include yoga and traveling abroad.
