Designed by our Architects in Atlanta:

Lake Oconee House, Georgia

The architectural inspiration for this vacation house was derived from three major factors. One, design a modern craftsman lake bungalow with a strong presence. Two, design a house with a west facing view which needed shade. Three, take the best advantage of as much of the lake as possible. The strong center granite chimney on this lake house anchors a big sheltering gable roof. The lake side façade is recessed to provide shade and view to the glass and cool the interior spaces. We added a wing and gazebo screened porch off to the side to pick up views up the lake that otherwise would not have been visible.
